Several sources that after the credits to the new Marvel summer blockbuster, Iron Man, there is a very very exciting scene.
I have no idea what it is, but my thoughts that it might clue in to a sequel with Jim Rhodes as War Machine. After all, it has been announced that if the film does well at the box office, a sequel is expected to be released in 2010. This scene is very exclusive to the release of the film as prior press screenings did not showcase this ending.
Hope everyone enjoys the film tonight!

The black guy you are talking about is Nick Fury. He is the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the comic books and is also the leader of the super hero team known as the avengers. The avengers are the marvel counterpart of DC’s Justice League. The cameo at the end was hinting at a possible Avengers movie, but don’t get your hopes up. The end of X-men 3 showed Professor X being alive, hinting at an X-Men 4, which obviously is nowhere in sight. Possible Avengers members may be Captain America, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Wasp, Giant Man, Thor, and obviously Iron-Man.

Or it could be hinting towards something else first…

It’s Samuel L Jackson by the way.
He said he was inviting him to join the Avengers Initiative. I just watched it, like, an hour ago.

That “Black Guy From Jumper” is Mr. Samuel L. Jackson himself. I don’t think that he was hinting at an Avengers movie- so far, the film industry has been extremely wary of crossovers- I just think that S.H.I.E.L.D. will play a more prominent role in Iron Man 2 (Iron Man made 205 million dollars worldwide opening weekend- yes, they will make a sequel). The director has also expressed hesitancy about introducing War Machine too early in the series. Apparently in 2, Stark’s alcoholism will come up and Rhodey will take over as Iron Man for a while. Don’t expect to see War Machine before the third movie (if it gets that far).

I take it back. Marvel has announced Iron Man 2 to be released on April 30, 2010, as well as a Thor movie and a Captain America Movie in 2010, plus an actual Avengers movie in 2011. Sorry- I hate spreading misinformation.
