I am just so busy with tons of other stuff right now, that I am not able to get a full-blown review of an episode done. So I am going to treat you to several episode ratings of my favorite shows.

Starting with Smallville . . . .

1×01 - Pilot –9

1×02 - Metamorphosis -8

1×03 - Hothead – 5 (Only the Lex and Lionel scenes made this watchable)

1×04 - X-Ray - 9 (one of my favorite Meteor Freaks and X-Ray vision!!!)

1×05 - Cool -6

1×06 - Hourglass – 9

1×07 - Craving – 4 (Probably the worst episode of the season)

1×08 - Jitters –8

1×09 - Rogue - 9

1×10 - Shimmer - 6

1×11 - Hug – 9 (Loved the Lex and Clark foreshadowing)

1×12 - Leech - 8

1×13 - Kinetic - 1

1×14 - Zero – 8 (Loved Lex’s backstory in this episode)

1×15 - Nicodemus – 7

1×16 - Stray –7

1×17 - Reaper – 1

1×18 - Drone – 6 (Hated the FOTW; But loved Clark’s campaign)

1×19 - Crush – 9

1×20 - Obscura – 4 (See Trespass!)

1×21 - Tempest – 9 (A great finale even tho it’s not Kryptonian centered and Whitney left! WHOO-HOOO!!!!)

2×01 – Vortex – 9 (Clark’s red jacket debuts!)

2×02 – Heat –8

2×03 – Duplicity –8

2×04 – Red – 9 (Go Red-K!!!)

2×05 – Nocturne - 6

2×06 – Redux – 3

2×07 – Lineage – 9 (see SHoE episode 58 for my review on this one)

2×08 – Ryan – 6

2×09 – Dichotic – 6

2×10 – Skinwalker – 6 (Loved this for the caves, but that was its saving grace)

2×11 – Visage – 8 (Tina Greer returns; Too bad she brings Whitney along with her L)

2×12 – Insurgence – 10 (Quite possibly my favorite episode of the series)

2×13 – Suspect – 3

2×14- Rush - 8

2×15 – Prodigal – 6

2×16 – Fever – 7

2×17 – Rosetta – 10 (Christopher Reeve comes to Smallville!!!)

2×18 – Visitor – 5 (Weak follow-up to Rosetta; First mention of the work Kryptonite tho)

2×19 – Precipice - 3

2×20 – Witness - 2 (Home Improvement returns to Smallville; And it blew!)

2×21 – Accelerate – 2 (Worst episode of the season; but LOOOVED the rain effects)

2×22 – Calling – 9

2×23 – Exodus – 9.5 (Jor-El; Explosions; and the culmination of Supermanesque music makes this episode)

SEASON 3

3×01 – Exile – 9

3×02 – Phoenix – 10 (Both these episodes gave great jumping points into season 3)

3×03 – Extinction – 8

3×04 – Slumber – 4

3×05 – Perry – 9 (Michael McKean as Perry ROCKED!)

3×06 – Relic – 8

3×07 – Magnetic – 2 (Worst episode of the season and possibly the series)

3×08 – Shattered – 9 (Michael Rosenbaum really shines in this episode; Loved the car crash effect!)

3×09 – Asylum – 9

3×10 – Whisper – 8 (I loved Tom Welling in glasses; If only they stuck)

3×11 – Delete – 6 (This episode was OK; and it did have the first 33.1 reference of the series)

3×12 – Hereafter – 7 (THE CAPE!!!!)

3×13 – Velocity – 2 (So uncharacteristic of Pete)

3×14 – Obsession – 9 (Alicia Baker, need I say more? J)

3×15 – Resurrection – 6 (Helo got shore leave from Galactica to shoot this episode)

3×16 – Crisis – 9 (The mystery of this was great; and I love the ending with Lionel)

3×17 – Legacy – 10 (I totally love this episode; Christopher Reeve played off Welling and Glover perfectly in this episode)

3×18 – Truth –9

3×19 – Memoria – 10

3×20 – Talisman - 8 (Schneider directed this one; Loved it!!!)

3×21 – Forsaken – 2 (WHY?!?)

3×22 – Covenant – 10 (Awesome finale!!!!)

SEASON 4

4×01 – Crusade –10

4×02 – Gone – 9

4×03 – Façade – 5 (Weak follow-up from the opening two episodes)

4×04 – Devoted - 7 (Hated the episode but it was dang funny especially with all of Chloe’s “stunts”)

4×05 – Run – 9

4×06 – Transference – 10 (Welling really shined as Lionel!!!!)

4×07 – Jinx – 8 (Mxyzptlk, 33.1, and awesome super-speed!)

4×08 – Spell – 2 (This episode is so painful to watch)

4×09 – Bound – 8

4×10 – Scare – 8

4×11 – Unsafe – 9 (ALICIA RETURNS!!!)

4×12 – Pariah – 9

4×13 – Recruit – 7 (This episode was so funny but weak as a concept)

4×14 – Krypto – 3 (This episode is also painful to watch)

4×15 – Sacred – 8 (Very Kryptonian centered; Love the teaser with Jor-El and Swann)

4×16 – Lucy – 6

4×17 – Onyx – 10

4×18 – Spirit – 7 (Weak concept but fun to watch . .. “The crown’s mine, b****”)

4×19 – Blank – 9 (Such a great episode; Can’t really pinpoint why I like it )

4×20 – Ageless – 5 (The Lionel scenes in this episode make this watchable)

4×21 – Forever – 6 (Obviously filler buildup to the finale)

4×22 – Commencement – 10 (AWESOME FINALE!!!!)

SEASON 5

5×01 – Arrival – 9 (Fortress; Disciples of Zod; Black Ship- - Awesomeness!!!)

5×02 – Mortal – 5 (The scene with Clark and Lex at the end made this episode watchable)

5×03 – Hidden – 10

5×04 – Aqua – 7 (James Marsters makes his first Smallville appearance but “Aquabro” didn’t jive with me)

5×05 – Thirst – 6 (Loved the Vampire in-jokes)

5×06 – Exposed – 6 (Loved the Dukes of Hazzard in-jokes)

5×07 – Splinter – 9

5×08 – Solitude – 9 (Brainiac, Jor-El, Fortress all in one episode!)

5×09 – Lexmas – 9 (The only holiday of Smallville that has worked thus far)

5×10 – Fanatic – 6

5×11 – Lockdown – 5

5×12 – Reckoning – 9 (Such a great episode on so many levels as it reminded me why I watched the show; except where Pa Kent died)

5×13 – Vengeance – 8 (Showed us how dark Clark can get and why he doesn’t kill)

5×14 – Tomb – 2 (WTH?!?)

5×15 – Cyborg – 8

5×16 – Hypnotic – 7 (This episode was fun to watch as a comedy and James Marsters was in it J)

5×17 – Void – 8 (I loved this episode; The chase for Fine, Lex and Clark’s brush with death and their otherworldly visits)

5×18 – Fragile – 6 (Welling directed this episode fine but it was a weak concept)

5×19 – Mercy – 10 (Thus episode was gripping from start to finish; simply loved Clark and Lionel’s final scene)

5×20 – Fade – 6

5×21 – Oracle – 10 (Great episode; If only the finale carried the momentum of this)

5×22 – Vessel – 9 (Episode had such potential, but was still enjoyable)

SEASON RATING: 9

SEASON 6

6×01 – Zod (PREMIERE) – 10 (My favorite episode of the series!!! ZOD, Phantom Zone, Superfight!!!)

6×02 – Sneeze - 8 (Very comedic and fun)

6×03 – Wither – 7 (Would’ve been weak had Gloria not been a Zoner; Music totally rocked!!)

6×04 – Arrow – 10 (GREEN ARROW in all his goodness!!!)

6×05 – Reunion - 6

6×06 – Fallout – 10 (Totally awesome episode!!! Shame Raya was killed off L)

6×07 – Rage – 5 (Good episode despite the terribly awkward Kent Thanksgiving dinnger)

6×08 – Static – 8 (Loved the fight between Clark and Batista, and all the 33.1 references and MARTIAN MANHUNTER’s first appearance)

6×09 – Subterranean – 7 (Where are all the moles?!?)

6×10 – Hydro – 8 (Even tho Tori Spelling was in this episode, it did not deter my enjoyment of it)

6×11 – Justice – 10

6×12 – Labyrinth –10

6×13 – Crimson – 10

6×14 – Trespass – 6

6×15 – Freak – 8 (Michael Rosenbaum directed this episode beautifully)

6×16 – Promise – 10 (Most underrated episode of the season)

6×17 – Combat - 8 (Very tight and action-packed!!!)

6×18 – Progeny – 6 (Why couldn’t they cast a blonde as Chloe’s mom?)

6×19 – Nemesis – 10 (Clark-Lex meat locker situation, Lana goin darkside, Lionel’s motives revealed - - SO GOOD!!!)

6×20 – Noir – 5 (Worst episode of the season)

6×21 – Prototype – 10 (MOLE!!!)

6×22 – Phantom (FINALE) – 10 (Martian Manhunter, Death, and Bizarro - - JUST AWESOME!!!)

SEASON RATING: 10

 

SEASON 7
7×01 - Bizarro (PREMIERE) - 10 (Best premiere ever!!! Can watch this again and again!!! Definitely kicked off the season in a good way!)
7×02 - Kara - 10 (Brilliant follow-up to Bizarro; Had so many great Superman references, it was amazing!)
7×03 - Fierce - 7 (Main Weather Girl plot was bleh, but everything else was great)
7×04 - Cure - 8 (I think Dean Cain totally rocked as a villain; Better than I expected it to be)
7×05 - Action - 9 (A lotta anvils made this episode great; also Lionel RETURNS!!! Plus, you gotta love the red cape)
7×06 - Lara - 10 (HELEN SLATER AS LARA!!!)
7×07 - Wrath - 8 (very interesting episode; Much better than expected)
7×08 - Blue - 10 (AWESOME IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!!)
7×09 - Gemini - 10 (BIZARRO RETURNS!!!!!)
7×10 – Persona – 10 (A heckuva thrillride for an episode! Sad to see Bizarro go though, Happy to see Marsters return as Brainiac)
7×11 - Siren - 8 (This episode was great but some of the Clana drama got on my nerves, but this episode made me love Clark and Lois’ interaction)

7×12 – Fracture – 9 (Very much a transitory episode; Loved seeing the inner workings of Lex’s “fractured” psyche)

7×13 - Hero - 8 (Although a weak concept, it was nice to have Pete back)

7×14 - Traveler - 10 (Great to see the Smallville mythos come full-circle with great character conflict for Lionel Luthor and the introduction of the secret Veritas group; Was a lot of set up but I was grabbed from the start)

7×15 - Veritas - 9 (More Smallville mythos coming full circle along with building towards greater plots and greater reveals for the series in coming episodes; Loved Marsters as Brainiac again)

7×16 - Descent - 10 (Had something that I have wanted to see for a long time - - the descent of Lex Luthor into total villainous darkness)

7×17 - Sleeper - 8 (Not a totally weak episode, Had some down spots, but overall a nice transitory episode between Descent and the next episode)

7×18 - Apocalypse - 10 (Had loads of great Superman nods and answered losts of questions about Brainiac that brought back a lot of earlier elements from the series)

7×19 - Quest - 9 (Brought things full circle again; Lex’s “quest” was really where the meat of the episode lies)

7×20 - Arctic (FINALE) -
