1×01 – City Of – 5 (Was a great premiere; Boreanaz really shines as Angel and the rest of the cast really works well together)

1×02 – Lonely Heart – 3.5

1×03 – In The Dark – 4.5 (Really great crossover from Buffy; one of the first of many; love how Whedon ties in the two shows seamlessly)

1×04 – I Fall To Pieces – 1.5 (Just did NOT work)

1×05 – Rm W/A Vu – 2

1×06 – Sense and Sensitivity – 3

1×07 – The Bachelor Party – 2.5

1×08 – I Will Remmeber You – 5 (This episode shows just how awesome Boreanaz and SMG are together; you FEEL their emotion)

1×09 – Hero – 5 (The death of Doyle . . . we barely knew ya)

1×10 – Parting Gifts – 5 (The introduction of Wesley into the Angelverse; the series shall never be the same)

1×11 – Somnambulist – 3.5

1×12 – Expecting – 2

1×13 – She – 2.5

1×14 – I’ve Got You Under My Skin – 4.5 (Pure creepiness)

1×15 – The Prodigal – 3

1×16 – The Ring – 4.5

1×17 – Eternity – 5 (Angelus with a happy pill - - genius!)

1×18 – Five By Five – 5 (Faith’s first appearance in the Angelverse - - Gotta give her props!)

1×19 – Sanctuary – 5 (This is where Buffy and Angel “officially” part ways)

1×20 – War Zone – 4 (Gunn’s first appearance – didn’t like him here but he grows on me)

1×21- Blind Date – 4

1×22 – To Shanshu in LA – 5 (Great finale - - gave the season closure with providing great clues to season 2!)

SEASON 2

2×01 – Judgment – 4 (A great Angel premiere - - really raises the notion that not all demons are evil - - I love it when Angel screws up :-D)

2×02 – Are You Now OR Have You Ever Been? – 3

2×03 – First Impressions – 3.5 (Really great interaction with Gunn and Cordelia)

2×04 – Untouched – 4

2×05 – Dear Boy – 5 (This episode really elaboriates upon the deep-seededness of the Angel and Darla relationship, Julie Benz really shines!!!)

2×06 – Guise Will Be Guise – 5 (Gotta love Wesley as Angel)

2×07 – Darla – 5 (I think Tim Minear writes great flashback episodes, crosses over with the Buffy episode, “Fool for Love” excellently)

2×08 – The Shroud of Rahmon – 2.5

2×09 – The Trial – 4

2×10 – Reunion – 5 (Darla and Drusilla in one episode!!!!)

2×11 – Redefinition – 5 (Really shows the intensity of Angel, David Boreanaz really shines!!!)

2×12 – Blood Money – 5 (The way Angel played Anne was disheartening and priceless)

2×13 – Happy Aniversary – 3

2×14 – The Thin Dead Line – 3.5 (Zombies NEVER work on TV)

2×15 – Reprise – 5 (Seeing Angel at his darkest, realizing the fight is forever, and seeing one of the Senior Partners in the flesh is pure awesomeness)

2×16 – Epiphany – 5 (Gotta love Angel’s “epiphany”)

2×17 – Disharmony – 3

2×18 – Dead End – 3

2×19 – Belonging – 3.5

2×20 – Over The Rainbow – 3 (Aside from the introduction of Fred, the Pylea arc doesn’t do it for me)

2×21 – Through The Looking Glass – 3.5

2×22 – There’s No Place Like Plrtz Glrb – 4 (The ending with Willow makes this episode)

SEASON 3

3×01 – Heartthrob – 4.5

3×02 – That Vision-Thing – 4.5 (Here is where we learn the ramifications of Cordelia’s visions; and we also meet Skip!!!!)

3×03 – That Old Gang Of Mine – 3.5

3×04 – Carpe Noctem – 3.5 (I love body-switches)

3×05 – Fredless – 4 (I liked how they toyed with our expectations and didn’t make Fred’s parents evil)

3×06 – Billy – 4 (Creeeepy)

3×07 – Offspring – 3.5 (Darla - - pregnant WOW!!!, Gotta love Holtz’s appearance at the end)

3×08 – Quickening – 4.5 (Connor arrives!!!)

3×09 – Lullaby – 4.5

3×10 – Dad – 3.5

3×11 – Birthday – 5

3×12 – Provider – 4

3×13 – Waiting In The Wings – 5 (I loved Summer Glau dancing! However, the Gunn/Fred relationship I absolutely detest due to its out of nowhere nature)

3×14 – Couplet – 3.5 (The relationship-centric episode where all the different )

3×15 – Loyalty – 4 (Episode totally told in Wesley’s perspective as he contemplates betraying Angel; Mad props to Denisof for pulling this off)

3×16 – Sleep Tight – 5 (The ramifications of the betrayal are totally set in motion!)

3×17 – Forgiving – 4.5

3×18 – Double Or Nothing – 3 (the ending with Angel and Wesley totally makes this episode!)

3×19 – The Price – 4.5 (The episode totally rocked and Connor’s arrival from Quor’toth was the best ending!)

3×20 – A New World – 5 (Vincent Kartheiser really shines as Connor in this episode!)

3×21 – Benediction – 4.5 (I thought this episode was great as we got to see Angel plotted in Holtz’s last bit of revenge against Angel)

3×22 – Tomorrow – 5 (A perfect finale to give season 4 a great launching point!)

SEASON 4

4×01 – Deep Down – 5 (What a great launching point for season 4 with all the characters dealing with Angel and Cordelia’s disappearance!)

4×02 – Ground State – 3.5

4×03 – The House Always Wins – 3.5

4×04 – Slouching Towards Bethlehem – 4

4×05 – Supersymmetry – 4.5 (Both J. August Richards and Amy Acker really shine in this episode!)

4×06 – Spin The Bottle – 5 (Everybody shines at playing their former selves!)

4×07 – Apocalypse Nowish – 5 (The episode has everything - - action, comedy, and pure drama!)

4×08 – Habeas Corpses – 4.5 (The Beast destroying all of Wolfram and Hart - - who saw that coming?)

4×09 – Long Day’s Journey - 4

4×10 – Awakening – 4.5 (The way that the entire episode played out was amazing!)

4×11 – Soulless – 4.5 (I love the way Angelus is portrayed; Such a vast improvement from Angelus in Buffy Season 2 and that was still good)

4×12 – Calvary – 4 (Faith returns!!!!)

4×13 – Salvage – 5

4×14 – Release – 4.5

4×15 – Orpheus – 5 (Faith, Angelus, and Willow all in one episode!!!!)

4×16 – Players – 4

4×17 – Inside Out – 5 (This really was awesome; The inner conflict within Connor was played to perfection by Vincent Kartheiser)

4×18 – Shiny Happy People – 3.5 (This is where the season lost me was with Jasmine, but she was played beautifully by Firefly’s Gina Torres)

4×19 – The Magic Bullet – 4

4×20 – Sacrifice – 3.5

4×21 – Peace Out – 4

4×22 – Home – 5 (A great finale that really brought “home” everything!)

SEASON 5

5×01 – Conviction – 4.5 (The transition of Team: Angel from Angel Investigations to Wolfram and Hart was played nicely, along with some new additions as well)

5×02 – Just Rewards – 5 (Spike is baaaack)

5×03 – Unleashed – 3.5 (I was never a big fan of Nina)

5×04 – Hell Bound – 5 (“Surprise: You’re going to Hell. We both are.”)

5×05 – Life Of The Party – 2.5 (One of Angel’s few Halloween episodes)

5×06 – The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco – 3

5×07 – Lineage – 4.5 (I loved Wesley in this episode! The episode really showed the depth of Wesley and his father’s relationship; the consolation scene between Wesley and the rest of Team; Angel was awesome)

5×08 – Destiny – 5 (I thought this episode had everything! It also had a kickbutt fight between Spike and Angel, and my jaw hit the floor when Lindsey returned!)

5×09 – Harm’s Way – 4 (Hillarious!!!! Chops to Mercedes McNabb for being able to carry this whole episode!)

5×10 – Soul Purpose – 4.5 (Boreanaz acted and directed this episode beautifully!)

5×11 – Damage – 5 (Andrew makes a surprising appearance to Angel; which gives surprising clues to the direction the Buffyverse takes)

5×12 – You’re Welcome – 5 (Charisma Carpenter returns beautifully and it was just an awesome episode!)

5×13 – Why We Fight – 1 (Weakest episode of Angel ever!)

5×14 – Smile Time – 4.5 (“You’re a bloody puppet!”)

5×15 – A Hole In The World – 4.75 (Fred, you will be missed.)

5×16 – Shells – 5 (As much as I love Fred, I think Amy Acker really shines as Illyria)

5×17 – Underneath – 4

5×18 – Origin – 4.5

5×19 – Time Bomb – 5 (Amy Acker shines as Illyria as the episode is told primarily from her perspective)

5×20 – The Girl In Question – 4.5 (If you accept season 8 as canon, then this episode means nothing! But it’s still a fun episode told from Spike and Angel’s perspective)

5×21 – Power Play – 5 (This episode was really intense as all the season’s plots come to a great conclusion . . .)

5×22 – Not Fade Away – 5 (Has to be one of my favorite episodes of the series,, people give it a lot of crap but it’s a perfect finale as it states the mission statement of the show perfectly)
